NOVA 6
Unique, Handmade Silver Gelatine Print on Fibre Paper
The artwork is presented in a white, wooden frame, classically mounted with white matting. The mount carries the maker’s mark on the lower right. A Certificate of Authenticity accompanies the artwork.
Framed dimensions: 43 × 53 cm
Each piece is 1 of 1, shaped by an intricate process that gives every work its own distinct composition and character.
Artwork/Series
The sixth piece in the NOVA series. Each work in the series reflects on the paradox of collapse as creation, echoing the brilliance of a supernova where a star’s explosive death becomes its most luminous moment.
Formed through the restrained burning of isopropyl alcohol on a glass slide to create a negative for traditional silver gelatine printing, the piece reveals fine, ethereal textures that hold both tension and stillness. The emergent forms suggest energy blooming through fracture, offering a meditation on impermanence that finds beauty not beyond the breaking apart, but within it.
Room Suggestions
Bedroom
Brings a soft, meditative presence to the space, fostering rest and introspection without dominating the mood.
Living space
Adds a quiet sense of depth and atmosphere, grounding the room while inviting calm reflection amidst daily life.
Hallway
Transforms a transitional space into a moment of pause; a fleeting yet memorable encounter as you pass through.
Each piece is carefully prepared before leaving the studio. Please allow up to 10 business days for dispatch.
