A Word on Perception

Life offers us two seemingly easy paths: to believe everything or to doubt everything. Both require little thought. However, the true challenge lies in navigating the complexities of relevance, and determining which hurdles to take on. Similarly, we can view everything either as individual components or as part of a larger whole, continually assessing our encounters through this lens.

Life isn’t meant to be easy; it's a perpetual journey of obstacles and growth opportunities. Through recent years, I've come to realize that perception shapes our experiences profoundly. Embracing the lessons of hardship yields greater rewards than merely coasting through life with easy wins.

Embarking on my journey of printmaking and art creation marked the culmination of a significant personal transition, following the passing of my father and embracing fatherhood myself. I sought an outlet beyond constraints, aiming to devote myself to honing my craft unapologetically. Every event, whether positive or negative, has been relevant and instrumental in shaping my path. This mindset frees up mental space to focus on what truly matters, rather than fretting over the inevitability of the human condition.

This journey has taught me that challenges are not roadblocks but stepping stones toward personal growth and fulfilment. Each obstacle overcome, and each setback navigated, has strengthened my resolve and deepened my understanding of myself and my craft. In the realm of artistry, as in life, it is the journey itself—the process of creation and self-discovery—that holds the true beauty and significance.
